We believe that football has the power to make change through its fans and in the local community.
We are passionate about young people having their say in how Charlton Athletic can help the environment and encourage a greener future for everyone.
What We Have Achieved
CACT’s young people supported Charlton Athletic’s Greener Game, encouraging fans to make eco-conscious decisions around attending the games.
Young people also took part in social action on the day including litter picking and raising awareness on environmental issues.
Charlton Athletic hosted My London’s Anti-Prom Youth Summit!
Bringing together young people from across Lewisham and Greenwich to share their social action campaigns at the stadium. Charlton Athletic included activities that prompted others to think about the environmental impact of fast fashion and a disposable world.
The Young Leaders Programme offers young individuals aged between 16-21 (or 25 for those with special education needs or disability) the unique opportunity to develop the skills and experience needed to become leaders of the future, whilst also making a difference to their community and Charlton Athletic Community Trust (CACT).
